DUI Risk Reduction Program

The DUI program is a 20-hour course held in 2½ day scheduled sessions. An assessment must be completed prior to enrolling in the DUI 20-hour course.

ALL FIRST DUI OFFENDER CLIENTS - PLEASE READ CAREFULLY

First time DUI offenders are required, as a condition of probation, to get a clinical evaluation, and if indicated by the evaluation, complete a substance abuse treatment program. These requirements, effective July 1, 2008 are in addition to all other existing requirements for probation. Under this new law, the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD) is responsible for approving clinical evaluators and treatment providers and establishing regulations for implementing these requirements


DUI Risk Reduction Program

  • You must complete the DUI Risk Reduction program (DUI School of 20 hours of classroom instruction) before getting the clinical evaluation.

Defensive Driving

6 Hour Driver Improvement

The six hour defensive driving course certified by the Department of Driver Services (DDS) is designed  to teach drivers about safe driving attitudes and behaviors. 


Taking this course can fulfill a mandated court order, reinstate a revoked or suspended license, reduce points, satisfy a job requirement, reduce insurance premiums and improve driving skills. Students will receive a certificate of completion at the end of the course that is recognized  by DDS.

6 Hour Course  $95.00 (Fee set by the State)

Advance Online Defensive Driving Course

 This  30 hour driving course is designed with the new driver in mind to introduce defensive driving strategies, assist in risk identification and rejection by novice drivers, with the primary objective of reducing the serious consequences of traffic collision involvement. Completion of this course may also assist in the preparation for the driver's license exam.  $29.00

Driver's education

ADTSEA Driver's Education Curriculum 3.0 - $125

This 30 hour course is designed to provide the student with the basic knowledge necessary to operate an automobile. It is an introduction to the highway transportation system with emphasis on risk perception and management in the decision-making process.
